Wonderful Land
This is a fabulous musical journey of my early teenage years when first hearing the unique sound of the Fender Stratocaster guitar as the lead instrument in a band or orchestra, which led me to recording this album with 12 of the most extraordinary world wide hits on one very special album.

The opening track, Wonderful Land reminds me of our beautiful country that some of us are lucky enough to travel around. The tune was written by an Australian ‘Jerry Lordan’ who also wrote the massive world wide hit ‘Apache’. This started the guitar instrumental revolution. Jerry Lordan also wrote the very beautiful tune ‘Atlantis’.

From the very early days as a guitarist I’ve been lucky to have the natural ability to create a very Shadow like style and sound with my own interpretation of the tunes.

It has given me great pleasure recording this CD and I hope you get many years of enjoyment listening to it.

Wow!
What an album, with a great mixture of tunes. This is the album I always wanted to record but never did. ‘Well Gunnas done it’

Here it is. From the very first tune ‘Ghost Riders in the Sky’ and the very first note this CD will have you tapping your feet, from the instrumental arrangement of Africa to Adventures in Paradise which is a wonderful tune from the TV series of the same name in the 60’s with a melodic sounds of a tropical islands.

The Lonely Bull is a brass instrumental made famous by Herb Albert and The Tijuana Brass made a lovely guitar instrumental.

The hauntingly beautiful sound of Cavatina, from the movie The Deer Hunter, can expel the odd tear or two.
Guitar Tango, the final on this 15 track album was recorded using a Maton acoustic guitar and my Fender Stratocaster guitar. The end result is exactly what I envisioned.

I absolutely love this album and I’m sure you will too.
